This is the third year for the Black Men’s Dossier Fatherhood project. Black Men’s Dossier now has 90 stories of men talking about their experiences as role models and fathers. The initial intent was to reverse the stigma that Black Men are not involved fathers. Black Men Dossier always knew this perception was false, and set out to tell awesome stories.
The 2016 collection of men are from different professions and different parenting situations. DJ Mars spins turntables and is a single parent father. Esha Addy is a correctional officer and raising two sons with autism. Just two examples any man can glean insight from their two different situations.
Each day in the month June we release a new story. Delve into these inspirational stories, and celebrate with us our black fathers.
