The things that I’m proud of personally is raising a beautiful daughter, and being able to create positive images of African Americans on the big and small screen.
Roger Bobb is one of the most successful producers working in the film and television industry today. Bobb is the President and CEO of Bobbcat Films, a film and television production company based in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to creating Bobbcat films, Bobb served as Executive Vice President of Tyler Perry Studios.
As a producer he's able to control content and the way images of Black people are portrayed in films and television. With four hit shows currently on the air and 11 films having been released in the last seven years, all opening at #1 or #2 on their opening weekends, he consistently reinforces positive images to uplift this generation.
“The principle I live by that's helped me succeed is -- what would my parents do? If it is something that I think my parents would not be proud of or approve of, I don’t do it,” says Bobb.
