A routine Saturday morning grocery store shopping trip changes Julius Milton Sr. life. Julius Sr. was an avid smoker. He often smoke in the car with the children in back and the windows rolled up. On one Saturday, Julius cried out “Daddy do you love us”. Inferring that the second hand smoke in the car was causing the Julius and Jarret to suffer.
Julius Sr. was stunned by his son’s simple words. At that moment, he quit smoking. Julius is now 73 and hasn’t smoked again in over 30 years.
"Because of my son opening his mouth, and saying what he felt. It turned my life [around]. It saved my life", says Julius Milton Sr.
