Job security was important to men in that period. Getting and holding a job was the objective.
His father's job security laid the foundation for Whittley to attend college and also to take risks for his career. Whittley founded the award winning, lifestyle-marketing agency, Liquid Soul 14 years ago.
"I'm teaching my daughters to be risk takers, but also to be very calculated."
Now, Whittley is in a position in life to lay a better foundation for his two daughters, and see them achieve greater things.
